Due to a massive amount of cheating, Sega has completely reset the Xbox 360 leaderboards for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.
The cheating was dismayingly widespread as gamers kept popping up with logically impossible scores. People were clearing stages with a 0″00″00 time and a 99999990 score. Seriously, if you're going to cheat like a sad c*nt, you should at least make it believable. This is like when an underachieving child suddenly claims to get an A+. Only you are stupid enough to think people are going to believe you.
In any case, Sega has reset the boards, which probably won't do anything. The cheaters can just glitch their way back to the top while those who earned their points legitimately have now lost all their work. Sega might as well scrap the boards entirely. Stupid friggin' gamers.
