SEGA has recently registered a new domain name for Sonic Generations, with rumblings suggesting that this is the name of the "real" current generation Sonic game. What does that mean? From what I can gather, it means it'll be Sonic 2006, but not absolutely dreadful.
SEGA has one confirmed Sonic title in the works, Sonic 4: Episode 2 and a rumored collection of remade levels from past games, Sonic Anniversary. SEGA previously stated it had three big Sonic projects in the works, which would make Generations the third and last.
Can't wait to see what kind of shitstorm this game will bring with it.

After all, he's the dude with a 'tude.
We all don't like the 3D games either, so why continue?
Untill i see some screens of it though, Im staying on the fence.
I'm one of those rare people who likes the Sonic Adventure games MORE than the Genesis games.
Or heck. Why not release Sonic CD. Isn't that know to be one of the best Sonic games? And still, so few people have actually played it.

I distinctly remember hearing about a "Sonic Generations" before.
Anyhow, watch this project end up having next to no involvement with Sonic Teh Hedgehog aside from the usual Sega mascot cameos.
Colors was an amazing game.
