That's basically my reaction to Sega's Mike Hayes, who says that House of the Dead and Aliens games could come to the 3DS. YES!
"If the audience for 3DS is much broader it could give us much more scope in that market," stated Hayes. "We could bring, let's say, a House of the Dead or an Aliens title."
An Aliens DS title was outed last year, although very little is known about it. While I still hope to see that game in the future, some 3D Aliens action in my pocket would be beyond awesome, as would some House of the Dead. The 3DS' potential really seems to be exciting publishers and pushing them to consider the kind of awesome titles they just never made for the PSP out of fear for sales. It makes me very happy to see, and I truly hope the 3DS helps to bring some life and excitement back to the handheld market.

Wasn't GTA Chinatown a fail on the DS? Because that was an awesome, retro style game. But i played it on my PSP, not a DS.
Reckons I'll get a 3DS anyway, but for it to become a suitable platform for mature games as well as Nintendo classics would be AWESOME!
Just be patient and let Gearbox take their time with it. The last thing we need is Sega interfering and it ending up like Alpha Protocol.
Unless Sega ends up cancelling it like the Obsidian Aliens RPG. If they do that then they can go f*** themselves.
Aliens...I'm more skeptical about. I've never played a HotD game I didn't like, but Most aliens games have been misses.

Most Aliens fans agree the whole matter ended back at Alien 3, everything after that as been a bastardization of Ripley's story or the Aliens themsevels.
We selectively ignore Aliens Resurrection and AVP for the suck that they are.
I thought it was fantastic.
In fact horror films have been using 3D for years...
I'm really optimistic about this and have a gut feeling this will do exceptional well!
