Sega has been scouring Japan to find real-life girls to become virtual hostesses in the upcoming PS3 game Ryu ga Gotoku 4, better known here as Yakuza 4. Over a thousand girls originally entered, and Sega eventually narrowed down the selection to a few dozen, and finally 16 girls. The public then was allowed to vote on their favorites, and today we finally have the announcements.
Here's the lovely ladies (pictured above) that will appear in the game that will probably never come out here. If you go to the official webpage and click on each of their images, you can watch video of their likenesses being scanned in for use in the upcoming game. The top seven will appear in the game, but the one on the bottom, Maiko Shirosaki, will be more of a promotional cheerleader, says Andria Sang.
My favorite is Noa Mizutani. Fist-bitingly cute, that one. I also like Rio. She works in the idol industry, so we may see more of her pop up. Who do you like?
