Platinum is cobbling together another game, and it'll be continuing its long-running partnership with SEGA in the process.
Sales and marketing VP Andrew Pritchard confirmed the title in his Game Informer interview, but that's all he said. So far, we have no idea what Platinum's got up its sleeve, but director Hideki Kamiya has been teasing Bayonetta 2 an awful lot lately, so there's a good chance that could be it.
So far, SEGA has published MadWorld, Infinite Space, Bayonetta and Vanquish for Platinum. They should get married if they love each other so much.

No kidding, man. Vanquish was bad for that.
Whatever it is.
Madworld didn't do well, but might have gained life in the bargain bins.
I doubt Infinite Space did large numbers and Vanquish doesn't look like it's burning up the sales charts.
I'm only asking because Sega is cut throat in how they publish. They'll put something on market and if it doesn't do well enough, it'll get slashed until inventory is burnt through.
I really love the concepts that Platinum puts in to their games, but I haven't bought a single one of them yet. They just don't make my games.
I didn't seems to catch on and that unfortunate since it really deserves attention.
I know in the business world money talks. However, there's been a few instances where a game many though wouldn't get a sequel because of so-so sales but received a second chance so we'll see.
If by "Bayonetta looks SO MUCH like Sarah Palin" you mean that she has dark hair and glasses, then yes. Everything else, no.
I just registered to this site to tell you that yours is the most spot-on comment I've seen all year.
VANQUISH 2!!!
VANQUISH 2!!!
Even Madworld kicked ass, but was a tad bit repetitive.
I'm digging Sega these days.
Infinite Space was horribly underrated by the western gaming media, but it's one of the best RPGs to come out for the DS, and almost definitely the best game to come out of the SEGA/Platinum partnership.
"So far, we have no idea what Platinum's got up its sleeve"
not even that MP game Platinum said they're working on?
Infinite Space actually did really well in Japan. Got pretty much universal praise in the gaming media over there, too.
It's reviews in the west are pretty much a textbook example why I hate the gaming media. The game got a lot of criticism leveled at it for flaws that weren't even true.
Infinite Space is really one of the most unique games I've ever played and a testament to the unique games that could only be inspired by the DS platform. I wouldn't begrudge a follow-up to Bayonetta, but I'd love to see a title that expands on the many great ideas Infinite Space has.
