Want to see some 3D screenshots of Wii games running on the 3DS? Then download this win.zip file, copy the contents onto a SD card, insert the SD card into a 3DS, and there you go. It'll take a little while, as there are hundreds of screenshots here, but it's worth it.
I was especially pleased to see several Wii games that are bursting with creativity on the inside, but come off as a little scraggly on the outside. I'm talking about games like Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, Sin and Punishment 2, Fragile Dreams, and No More Heroes 2. Love them all, but they've always been ugly ducklings, at least by home console standards. With the aid of the 3DS, they all look genuinely impressive.
Then there's shots of Wii games that have always looked awesome, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Muramasa, and Super Mario Galaxy. There's even a few GameCube games thrown in there for good measure, like F-Zero GX and Luigi's Mansion. All classics, and all look even more attractive in 3D.
I know the 3DS is already inundated with ports, but after seeing these screens, I'm dying for a few of these Wii/Gamecube titles to make the jump to the 3DS, particularly Fragile Dreams and No More Heroes 2. How about you? You up for some more Wii-to-3DS ports?

I'd love a Smash Bros game for the 3DS.
I mean, I buy new systems for new games. Games like The World Ends With You on the DS or Sword and Sorcery on iPhone show that you get much better experiences with games built specifically for the platform they're on as opposed to trying to shoehorn one kind of game on another kind of platform.
Camera works like Face Raiders. That's all I gotta say.
Seeing as how the 3DS is just as (if not more) powerful than the Wii it would be nice to see some of these Wii games ported over to the 3DS with special 3D features built in.
Beyond the Labyrinth already looks like Fragile Dreams. Better even since it has better ground textures.
a moment of prayer for Project cafe Wii upscaling
Also, Power Stone 3D. For the love of God.
It's thanks to user "Eighteen" and his computer set up that has allowed him to make the 3D screenshots.

Hi, I don't mind that you use this material on this site.
But could you be so kind to at least put my name on it with some credit?

@Holmes -- Glad you liked them! Sorry, I should have researched the creator's info. Anyways, these have been a hoot. They've really got the imagination going. I just hope that Nintendo isn't too serious about not making more ports for the 3DS. I know I don't have a problem with portable/3D versions of Wii and GC games! Metroid Prime and Sin & Punishment are tippy top on my list of lusted after titles.
@ g-off- No More Heroes 2 and Fragile Dreams have great art direction, but small budgets. As such, they have beautiful visual ideas, but technically substandard follow through, especially when compared to big budget first part Wii games like Galaxy and Brawl.
However, on the 3DS, Fragile and No More Heroes 2 both look perfect, due to the 3D effect, the smaller screens making the textures and polys look "tighter", and for the fact that people just naturally expect less out of handheld graphics.
Does that make sense?
Can you do a BIT.TRIP game? Runner or Beat/Flux would be cool. :)
Then the jokes on you right? ;)
@flamezeroX Holy moly Someone needs to make that Fatal Frame game it'd be SO.FREAKING.SWEET.
Yes, I know you had no idea where the pictures came from, since two other people notified you and you just wrote an article based on what they told you.
however they explained me how it was, so it's allright :D.
Anyhoo, I never would have tought that I would be everywhere on the internet,
that's why i never put readme files in the first place.
but the readme is a great idea :D, i will put it in the next files, thanks!! ;D
Also, on the subject of Fragile-So picture this: you get those screenshots, lovely, think about using StreetPass to swap memories found in game, including ones you recorded yourself-just like Seto stumbling upon them randomly when traveling in his own world. That, plus the fact that the generous save points make the game great for a portable release...And that it's almost better in handheld-ish bursts of play [combat can get frustrating depending on your patience, ect.]....HNNNG I'm just gonna go now and stop making myself miserable wwanting such things I'll never have. ;-; It'd be LOVELY for Fragile to get another chance.
Pokemon: A few excellent shots (some of the attacks look great, and the clearer pictures of the Pokemon themselves are great also), but overall not very good. Unfortunately the pictures of the trainers often turned out better than the ones of the Pokemon. I imagine this would be a hard game to find decent screenshots of.
Metroid Prime 2: BEAUTIFUL! I doubt that the 3DS is actually capable of such gorgeous graphics. Same goes for RE4.
No More Heroes 2: Lots of great shots. The HUD is a little distracting, but there are plenty of excellent pictures without it.
Mario Galaxy: Some of the close-up shots aren't great, but the bigger shots convey a tremendous sense of depth and scale.
Wind Waker: Some objects that are too close to the screen caused me to see double, but for the most part the bright colors really pop off the screen. Some of the sword fighting pictures look really great.
Muramasa: Looks surprisingly good, especially for a 2D game. A few of the pictures look like pop-up books, but the pictures of the open field with the sunset in the background look fantastic.
Those are the only ones I've looked at so far.
