See the OUYA developer console unboxed, disassembled

6:00 PM on 12.28.2012

Despite not normally being too into unboxing videos, I'll admit, I was eager to see what the OUYA dev kits looked like. A work in progress, this early model is being sent out now to those developers who ordered one. I'm having flashbacks to the days when translucent controllers were commonplace.

The main highlight is the size of the unit, which is said to be about as small as a Rubik's Cube. We've seen the renders, but yeah -- this thing is tiny. Stick around to the end of the video to see the OUYA disassembled. Check out that adorable fan!
