See how the new Star Trek game was made

3:30 PM on 02.15.2013

Yep, that Star Trek game is a thing, and now you can see how the game came to life in this new video.

Brian Miller of Paramount Pictures goes over a few principles, like the ideologies behind Kirk and Spock's play-styles, as well as a few activities that you'll be engaging in during the course of the game (like controlling the Enterprise, and on-foot combat). Miller states regarding the co-op feature, "there's no other game we could possibly make."

Well, it's looking more promising, but the jury is still out on this one! It could be a pretty terrible run of the mill movie tie-in. Or, like X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it could end up surprising us by being totally kickass.

Namco's two-on-two fighter Rise of Incarnates enters open beta

Rise of Incarnates is that Bandai Namco fighting game that's supposed to be like the Gundam Vs. series but sadly, unfortunately, without any Gundams. If Steven hadn't previewed it, I likely wouldn't be aware it exists, but I ...more

What?! Japan gets a Gundam, Kamen Rider, Ultraman crossover RPG

Do we even have an American analog to this? Like if Transformers, Power Rangers, and, uh, another thing did a crossover RPG. My mind initially went to Speed Racer before remembering that it's Japanese. Then to Godzilla&...more
