Section 8 concept art shows tough men doing tough things photo

If the header image is confusing you, stick with us for a moment. In Section 8 you control a human soldier named Alex Corde. He and about everyone else we’ve seen thus far wears the burdensome space armor pictured above. Just to be clear: Corde isn’t a miniature Transformer. He’s a dude who wears a ridiculous suit.

As you might have already guessed, Southpeak Interactive released a few art assets for Section 8 this afternoon. Feel free to kick back and click through the gallery to see the rest. We like what we’re seeing, mainly because we have a soft spot for people who put metal over their heads. It’s a thing.

If you’d like to know more about Section 8, check out our preview.

It's already time for PAX? Man time goes by fast! Last August seemed like a month ago.

Somehow a knife doesn't sound like it would do much to a man clad completely in robotic armor...

I take it that they're wearing powered exoskeleton armor, cause that seems inhumanely impossible to be wearing that much armor.

In the second pic, maybe it's just me, but I don't think that big guy is a human... that's way too big, even for sci-fi.

This did sound interesting, what with the whole armor and other ludicrous things about the game. But then I saw Southpeak Interactive, because their track record certainly isn't the greatest. It looks fun, but still, that's just looks. With Southpeak Interactive being involved in this, I'm slightly holding back my excitement for now.

I dont knot if anyone noticed this but that first pic where the guy is holding the gun to the other guys head as he is laying on the ground, looks alot like that painting/statue of Saint Micheal about to kill a demon.

I'm still on the fence about this one but I'm definitely warming up to it. Seems pretty damn cool.
