Secretary of State gets a custom DS Lite photo
     Politics

If you were holding a conference for the eight richest nations in the world and needed to give out gifts fast, what is the first thing you would think of? Certainly not a videogame product, right? Before the G8 conference officially kicks off in Toyako, Hokkaido, at least three important bureaucrats in attendance were presented with gifts. The US’s very own Condoleezza Rice’s offerings consisted of some stickers in her likeness, as well as a customized DS Lite.

The DS looks pretty hip, but I don’t know if that is the most profound gift I could give a world leader. I suppose it could serve as a reminder that the eight largest nations should conserve energy, and therefore need to keep their console playing to a minimum. Personally, I’m digging the stickers. I look forward to the day when I get so popular that someone gives me a sticker of myself.

Let me pose this to you guys. What the hell kind of videogame product would you buy a minister at G8? Also, how would it be customized?

I'd have given her a pair of handcuffs and a nice, damp cell to sit in for about a hundred years.

Uh, the G8's not happening anywhere near Kyoto. It's in Toyako, Hokkaido. I was just there!

I remember when my brother used to work at Sam's Club he would make wallet-size "approval" stickers with our faces on them. I wonder if I still have mine.

I can't wait for this to hit Ebay. I'll take out a loan to buy the rarest DS ever if I have to! Lucky, undeserving... (because I don't want to be too mean here) woman.

Someone should give them R4s so they don't have to buy games. George Bush is known to have pirated music on his ipod. :D

@ EternalDeathSlayer
yes because torturing people and shitting all your money away on wars really keeps those taxes down

@Spam
yes because all of our Tax dollars are spent torturing people and funding a war....Wait until universal healthcare comes around see how high taxes will be then....oh nvm. We are just going to tax the rich as punishment for working hard and making money. I mean hell, they already pay for a third of the U.S. budget, lets just make that 50 percent now....
