There is some quiet chattering about a new and top secret Wii game that is due to be released sometime around E3. A heavily pixelated concept image was shown on IGN to wet the whistle, but those folks over at GAF have brought forth a clear and unobscured piece of art, which you can look at just above all this text.
So, now the rudderless speculation can begin. What is this image teasing? What kind of game could this be, and why should we be so expected? People on NeoGAF are throwing out all sorts of names, but two have caught our eye: Weaponlord and Gods. Both games share the kind of art style mimicked in the image, and while this exclusive Wii title is probably neither (and has a better chance of being Weaponlord out of the two), we've decided to just believe that it's definitely a Gods remake.
Gods was a game I used to play on my grandfather's PC when I was six-years-old, and I have spent the following years trying to remember what the bloody Hell it was called. This morning, Dtoid tipster Adam Dork shows me this concept art and asks me if I remember Gods. A short Youtube video later and I had finally remembered a game that eluded me for over twenty years.
On that basis alone, I decree that this secret Wii game is Gods.
