Second Red Faction DLC pack announced, multiplayer only photo

Mars continues to grow. The next piece of Red Faction: Guerilla DLC is on the horizon, and unlike the previous release, this pack aims to sate those with a taste for smacking real players with sledgehammers and camping with sniper rifles. Dubbed “The Multiplayer Pack,” the content is said to add eight maps and two game modes to the core multiplayer component.

The two new modes are called Bagman and Team Bagman. The objective in both is to capture a bag and hold on to it for as long as possible. Think Oddball for Halo 3 if you need a comparison.

A ton of images and a single walkthrough video showing off the content’s locations were released this afternoon. Check out the screens in the gallery and hit the fold for the vid.

The planned launch date for the content is September 17th on both Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PSN Store. The 360 version will cost 560 Microsoft Points, while the PSN version will be $6.99. Those prices are probably equivalent. Or something.

Good price for 8 maps and new game modes.

I still gotta finish the single player before delving into multi. I guess that's what I get for only playing an hour a week and being compelled to finish every side mission, destruction target, etc before I go on with the story missions.

That's some value there for sure. Aren't other map packs like $10 for three or four maps? Who's stupid enough to pay that price now once this drops? Not this guy.

Kinda bummed that they're not adding vehicle support - or at least appears that way.

I love the game, but feel that having a couple larger maps that support vehicles and walkers wouldve been great.

I'm hoping against hope that we will see this added in the third pack but I think it'll be specific to the wrecking crew mode. :(

still Im loving Demons of the Badlands and hope the explore more SP DLC.

It's kinda cheeky calling Bagman and Team Bagman as 2 different modes. I know it is technically true, but they variations of the same mode rather then 2 different ones.

But meh, I got bored of RF:G multiplayer pretty quickly and this isn't going to draw me back, although it seems like a nice deal for people who are really into it.
