I don't think Spider-Man even wore the costume for that long in the comic book ultimate universe.

I'm still not excited for this game; but I was hoping this "universe" would have had Spidey with the Cap Marvel powers, like he had for that short time.
I mean, they'd lost me when they said that it was level based instead of open world, but what the hell, this is just like a second Amazing universe... Why not just have 3 universes then?
I just started reading ultimate spiderman like a week ago. By the end of the night when he puts on the costume it freaks out on him and Peter destroys it At most he wore it 5 hours. The only reason Venom exists is because there was another bottle containing some of the symbiote, which was originally designed by Peter and Eddie Brock's fathers as a cure for cancer.
Which universe has Spider-Man dressing up as Spider-Thor, Spider-Iron, etc.? I wanted to see that as the last dimension...
I love the fact that it's the Ultimate universe and seems to be taking off after its own game from five years ago, but I have to wonder why he's in the black suit. I guess we'll see.
I remember when I got my first Spiderman game. It was a demo for PC, and it came in a cereal box. I will sincerely miss those days.
Who cares about Spiderman's ultimate suit! In that screenshot, there is the logo for Pain Factor, the reality show that Deadpool crashed in the Games of Death shorts! Hell Yeah! They even threw in the logo!

What I like is it isn't just Ultimate Spider-man, they make him wear the symbiote suit to differentiate him from the Amazing universe. And Ultimate Symbiote is the one with the weird tentacle attacks. I'm liking this even more. Not to mention Ultimate Spider-man is one of the best Spider-man games before this, plus you get to kick Deadpool's ass.
I don't understand people who hate this. Even if they hate the Ultimate universe, surely they realise Ultimate Spider-man is still miles ahead the rest of the current Ultimate books (and many 616 books, even).

I hope the game is good, but why does Spider-Man:
1) Have a camel toe

Oh all the universes to pick. So many different, amazing variations of Spider-Man they could have used, and they pick the one THAT HAS ALREADY HAD AN ENTIRE GAME DEDICATED TO IT. Then they shoehorn in a costume HE WORE FOR LIKE A SINGLE ISSUE IN THE BOOKS.
Pardon my nerdrage but that is absolutely fucking ridiculous. Marvel Zombies, 1602, Reign (!!!), a dozen What Ifs?, all viable choices, and they cop out and go for Ultimate.
Why make all that fuss for the most obvious universe they could have picked?
