Well hot damn! While I'm still not sure how I feel about the 1:1 motion control swordplay, I think everything else looks pretty awesome here.
For the love of god, somebody fix Springboard or stop using it. Bad enough that the video quality is shit and it has ads (though I partly blame Chrome's shitty adblock plugin for this) but it can't even make the ads RELEVANT. I had to watch a tampon commercial for a goddamn Zelda trailer. Last week it was an Insidious trailer in front of a Kirby video. What the fuck.

Well it is the reason I bought a Wii so Yay that it is finally almost here.... just don't think the promise of a new zelda at the end of the Wii U life cycle is going to let your next console skate its way into my shopping cart Nintendo .....
Funny how the last game i bought for the gamecube was Twilight Princess and this will probably be the last Wii game I buy.
Cool trailer is cool. But more importantly, please, somebody fix those god damn pop up ads. It's bad enough that ads for things I don't give a shit about cover the entire screen with sound enabled by default (because, fuck you for watching videos in other tabs, our noise is more important) but the damn thing also crashed firefox twice before it just didn't load. Fuck that shit.
It does look excellent, I'm still sad there's no field or Epona though. Riding around Hyrule field is one of my favorite cathartic experiences.
This looks great. It's also why I'm so excited for Wii U. Hear me out, if Nintendos art direction can help make the underpowered Wii look this good. Then I can't wait to see what they are capable off in high Def.
If this were the only game coming to the Wii U I'd probably still buy the damn thing. Zelda is still the king of its genre as far as I'm concerned. Can't wait!!!!!

For the first time in my life. I am not interested at all in a Zelda game. Its just not exciting me at all. I feel like ive played this game 10 times already.
The camera was really annoying in the gameplay segments. Is that typical, or was the person playing it a spaz?

@tuoman: the game apparently comes packaged with a gold wiimote+ with a triforce on it, so you don't need to buy a seperate wiimotion+ attachment.
@Aerius: That's only some of them, and I think it's a limited edition or something.

I thought I was the only one that hated this song. Just because it's a good song played backwards, it doesn't mean it sounds good from the current angle Nintendo is playing it. If you listen closely, you can hear the devil say something about this being the only game on Wii this year.
Game looks amazing, finally a Goron and hopefully a Zora considering this is meant to be the origin story.
I didn't seem much school related stuff, but the town is looking vcry promising. Aonuma said it's similar to Majora's Mask and if it comes anywhere close it'll be amazing.

I don't see what game could possibly validate motion controls more than this one. You've missed out on some good stuff sadly.

...I hate Links new design, and well as Zelda. She looks like an ugly, ugly women. Also, this may be just me, but it really doesn't feel like Zelda to me when I watch the trailers. This is coming from someone who has loved every Zelda before it, including Wind Waker so don't try and mash me in with those haters.
Something just doesn't feel right. I knew something was off when they announced that it was going to be a school drama. The only people who give a flying crap about school dramas is the Japanese. I can't STAND JRPG's for that very reason. I hate the way the characters look. I hate they way they sound. I hate absolutely everything about them.
Zelda was the only Japanese made game that did not feel or look like every JRPG ever made (I know Zelda is not a JRPG, I am just comparing styles). And now they are telling me that, not only is it going to be a super lame, super contrived schoolroom drama like a bajillion Japanese games already are, but it is also going to have some butt ugly character models.

Not saying it is going to be a bad game, just saying they took absolutely everything I hate about Japanese games and threw it into Zelda...This may be the first Zelda game I skip...I know I would never get passed the character design or schoolroom drama crap.

I may be the only one saying this but I can't be the only person who thinks this looks terrible. Not excited at all about this. I'm going to dust off my N64 and play Majora's mask again. That was a Zelda game.

Looking forward to this. This will probably be one of the last Wii titles I purchase, but this looks like a great investment. Can't wait for the flying parts and to see how the school mechanic works.
