SDCC: Square-Enix debuts the Odin Horse and more photo

Every time I visit the Square Enix booth at Comic-Con, I get to see some new toy that more or less blows my mind. Last year, it was the debut of the Shiva bike. By the way, we also learned that each of the summons in Final Fantasy XII has the ability to transform into something that your characters can ride. For instance, Shiva obviously transforms into a bike, and the horse prototype you see above is what Odin can transform into (by the way, this figure was shown for the first time at Comic-Con!).

We also got to see the Resident Evil 5 figures that were recently announced up close and personal. Fully poseable and carefully crafted in the likenesses of Chris and Sheva, these figures provide an excellent alternative for fans who aren't quite ready to shell out hundreds for the Hot Toys versions. Take a peek at the gallery for more you can look forward to coming your way soon, but hide your credit card before you do it.

Looks pretty badass. I'd buy it if I had the cash and the space for it.

Also, traditional mythology lists the horse's name as Sleipnir, but I'm not sure if it applies this time since Odin actually is the horse.

Wow. For some reason I find myself hoping that they'll create some kind of Chocobo or Moogle summon. I'd love to see vehicle mode on THOSE.

I am disappointed by the lack of legs, but it looks awesome regardless.

Whee a horsie! I wanna wide da ponee! What? 25 cents? Dat's highway robbery!

But seriously hot ride that Odin.
Now I can get started on my plans for cyborg horses and eventually become a vampire hunter. Eh... I'll probably get lazy and let someone else beat me to it. *goes back to tomopop 'shiva bike' eh? sexiness.*

This reminds me, I need to look around for an Akira model w/ that red motocycle. Hawt.

That figure looks like a whole lot of awesome, distilled and sculpted into a fantastic treasure that will eat my money like delicious, delicious candy. Now, they just need to put on 4 more legs to increase its sexy Sleipnir potential. Also, I noticed the Chris Redfield figure has one major feature that the in-game version lacks: an honest-to-Crom NECK.

Odin's horse Sleipnir has 8 legs (representing the 8 directions of the compass). FAIL

@DR EGG
I suppose that is why they didnt call the horse Sleipnir then. :/
