So maybe it isn't exactly Mario Paint, but it sure seemed that way. The upcoming PlayStation Move title, previously known as Sing and Draw, allows us to turn our TV into a glorified version of MSpaint, complete with drum loops and audio samples to keep you entertained.
I had a chance to try it out and to be honest, I wasn't very impressed with anything but the control itself. The accuracy of the wand was dead on and makes for an impressive tech demo -- however, the poorly lit room did nothing to help the Eye Toy in terms of video quality, and the current build of the game lacks many of the features that are currently in the works. In hindsight, it failed to keep my interest, but I could easily see how little kids might enjoy playing with it.
Features such as the use of multiple wands, video recording and more are currently being considered, however there was no word on if the features will be ready by the time Tokyo Game Show rolls around. The game is currently set to launch with PlayStation Move in the fall, and will be receiving a retail release in Japan, but as it stands, it'll likely be a PSN exclusive here in the US. Hopefully we'll be able see more at Toyko Game Show, or at Gamescom later this year.
(old dtoid meme is old, but still hilarious!)
True, that one never gets old, but its warranted this time
well my work here is done.
this shit is for kids, yo!
...butterscotch, yo!
The only way I see myself buying PS Move is if I could find it on sale, which won't be hard.
They're not ALL kids game... I saw a footage of Half Life 2 *or was it Portal 2?* being played on a Kinect, but since he was holding something, why not get a Move instead? I mean, isn't the whole point of Kinect is that YOU are the controller??
Getting back to the article at hand, I just have one thing to say. I'll stick with MS Paint, Sony. But thanks for such useless shovelware.
that sums up the review..
From TFA "complete with drum loops and audio samples to keep you entertained."

When halo and gears get natal support, announced and confirmed I will stand corrected. But so far, natal is for kids.
Sorry I meant same "Style" as music offering.
I don't want some Wii music drumset I can bang on, I want the notes in front of me so I can build a song!
Exactly. And it's true and deserved.
