SDCC: Lost Planet 2 is taking it up a notch in these screens photo

Comic-Con 2009-flavored Lost Planet 2 screenshots really aren't all that different from regular Lost Planet 2 screens. In fact, I know one of these images isn't new; at least, I could have sworn I had seen it somewhere before. What gives, Capcom?

At any rate, the game appears to be coming along nicely. We knew Lost Planet 2 would be amplifying the size and amount of monsters over the original game, but look at this stuff! If these pictures are representative of the final product, then the scope of the game is going to be massive.

And since you get to play as a group of soldiers (through co-op) rather than a lone hero, the feeling that you are only a fraction of the overall fight against the Akrid is only going to increase. Kind of heavy, isn't it?

Is Lost Planet 2 affected by MS patening (sp/is it even a term?)?

Or could Capcom just refuse to refer to it as a squad game?

Damn my last comment was messed up.

I meant 'Is Lost Planet 2's co-op mechanic affected by the recent Microsoft patent?'

I loved Lost Planet, and the multiplayer was fantastic

I cannot wait for this to come out.

If I could, I would have Capcom's baby

This game is going to be so incredible. I LOVED the first one, and now this one having co-op is just going to be absolutely incredible. Not to mention the even more epic bosses.

Pre-order a mech? Isn't that kind of imba breaking? That better be for single player and not multiplayer.
