It has been so long since the Xbox LIVE Arcade port of Defense Grid was announced, I was started to think the tower defense game was stuck in development hell. Turns out, I thought wrong -- the game is still set to make a summer release.
Not only that, but Defense Grid XBLA will be playable at Comic-Con tomorrow. Head on over to the Microsoft booth for your one and only chance to play the game before it gets released. Jonathan enjoyed the PC version, and after purchasing it for $5 on Steam during a sale, so did I.
I'm interested to see how the game has been adapted to work with an Xbox 360 controller in mind, so I for one will be looking out for any and all videos that hit the web. Defense Grid may not have the aesthetic charm of Plants vs. Zombies, but it is definitely one to look out for.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.
