It has been out for a year and has a massive library of exclusive games, and by massive I mean I have been in Chad's Jeep with more people (This sad joke is actually true). It is the PSTriples. Our friends at ScrewAttack show us an honest and humorous look at what the PS3 has or doesn't have all to itself. The only problems that I have with this list is:
1) Wasn't Ridge Racer 7 called Ridge Racer 6 on the Xbox 360?
2) Ummm. TALLADEGA NIGHTS!!!

I know this is a classic fanboy war thread, so let me say this. I'm sure that Dtoid as well as most "non-extremist fanboy" gamers like myself would be giving Microsoft just as hard a time if they had the same trouble putting out great games to play that couldn't be played on the other guy's system. Hell, I remember seeing quite a few news items and general finger-wavings directed at all the hardware failures over the last year or two here. So, with that said, let the "Destructoid and everyone picks on Sony, blah blah blah" comments commence!
It still remains that no one can convince me to buy a PStriple. And to think i was a huge sony fanboy until the console was actually released. Sony, you killed my inner child.
Like I said before the GT community is full of retards, fanboys and trolls. Which also happens to be alot like the GameFAQS community, or lack there of.
There will be Metal Gear, Wipeout and GT but no matter what way you spin it - you have sorta played these games before and the 360 can offer similar gametypes already. I am surprised so many have sold. Quite happy with 360 even when (and I know it will) break on me. LIVE is great and the games suit me quite well. Motorstorm is the only title here that the 360 cannot really offer an alternative to.
My friend has both the 360 and PS3. I told him I was thinking of getting a PS3 and he laughed at me! He said he doesn't even own one game for the PS3. He had bought 2 used ones and brought them back the next day. He only has it as a blu-ray player.
Stupid. this video is beyond stupid. and its bad timing, why didnt they wait till xmas to do it, when there are more AAA titles out. which there will be..

but really, I can imagine a lot of people feel what that movie tries to convey. If I would've shelled out 600$ a YEAR ago for a console and still I would not have a decent collection of games I would feel ripped off... I've got this feeling with the Wii allready and at least that has got SOME fun games on it this year... :-)
Luckily i have my trusty 360 to hold me over in the mean time... gonna wait for the PS3 to have 2 rumble controllers and be cheaper then 400 euro's in the default pack, so no later then X-mas 2008...

The 360 has more good exclusives than the PS3, but the PS3 has some good exclusives on the way. Uncharted comes to mind. Also, PS3 owners will be able to play Haze and UT3 this holiday season.
But, the PS3 doesn't have Mass Effect which may just be the best game I've ever played. It's worth buying a 360 for Mass Effect alone.
Ps3 doesn't suck, it just doesn't have an extensive library, and no one was comparing consoles, there is no winner, and whoever has a PS3 I'm sure they're enjoying it as we speak.

They made mention that just because something was altered, it doesn't make it an exclusive. Yet they throw a Non-Game in a top 10 games list that isn't the first time it was released.. A stupid move for dead humor.
And the whole "LOL PS3 HAS NO GAMES!!1!" got old a few months after it started.. Maybe i'm alone in thinking that it's lame ass for someone in such a spotlight to make a joke. For goodness sakes why can't they come up with something better than the common and oh-so-tried jokes of "God of... Heavenly Sword" and "Oh, there aren't any games! LOL!"... Why don't they spend 5 minutes on the toilet thinking of things and they can come up with something better.
How about these, since Screwattack seems unable to come up with their own clever material.
1. The only thing Uncharted with the PS3, are significant sales.

On another note about this all - It's a 6 minute long video for christs sake... Is it REALLY necessary to do a recap of numbers 10 through 2? I can understand if this was a half hour episode. Or one of those "Top 100" lists... But it's 7 items covered in 6 minutes.
Put plainly, this is one of Screwattacks worst.. Most of us acknowledge that the PS3 is failing and we don't argue it. But with a year of the same jokes, I just figured they'd have something humorous and new to say.
Everyone is praising that game because the system is in dire need of a game actually worth playing. Honestly, I don't even see anything amazing about it at all.

In the end I DO have a triple, but I can still say that I think Sony really screwed up and the system is by far the worst one to purchase at its release and up to now, probably even further into the future.
It's the most expensive console and doesn't have enough titles to back it up, there's about 4 - 5 exclusive titles actually worth having. I'm getting tired of everyone saying "wait, wait, they're coming just give it a bit more!"
I mean, of course that could very well be true but at the sametime.. That isn't going to help the PS3 sale and it's not going to talk customers / fans into wanting to actually keep the system. I'm not going to lie, like I said before, I've wanted to sell the damn thing numerous times but a part of me doesn't want to ONLY because of MGS 4 and Silent Hill 5. It really is a shame that I'm holding onto this console longer for just 2 games.. That could eventually (and most likely will) be ported over to 360.

Beyond my message. I own all three consoles. I use my PS3 as a multimedia library only. Uploading and removing. Watching movies on it. That's about it. I purchased Resistance for it. Same went for The Darkness *I believe it ran smoother on the PS3 than it did the 360*.. Since then, I haven't bought a game for it. But it does serve the multimedia platform extremely well, I must say.

both systems deserve to be popular. microsoft just needs to fix its failure rate, and lower their price, and then i will buy one. but i love my ps3 more. IT's a taste thing.

Oh and I own 10 PS3 games. 3 are multiplatform. Only one I traded back (not counted in the 10) is COD 3.
