It's believed that Ubisoft has two installments of Assassin's Creed releasing this year: one for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the other for Xbox 360 and PS3. Kotaku has acquired leaked images of the former title, known as Unity, and it looks like Paris is one of the next locations for the franchise.

Of special note are the dedicated "parkour up/down" buttons, as shown in the images. Prior rumors have pinned the title as starring the assassin Arno during the French Revolution.

I'd advise against judging too harshly, at least for the time being -- these screenshots look real early. That said, more Assassin's Creed. Lots more. Black Flag may have turned it around for some fans but I have to wonder how much more we can realistically take.

Review: Dark Souls II: The Crown of the Old Iron King
