Scott Pilgrim game soundtrack out next week! photo

Anamanaguchi is the brilliant chiptune band that fills your ears with awesome every time you play Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game. I'm loving the soundtrack and find myself turning on the game just so I can hear the songs and not even play the game.

I won't have to keep up this stupid way of listening to the music much longer as the 24 track 8-bit rock album will be out on iTunes on August 24. What's that you say? You haven't heard the soundtrack and/or you have no idea what an Anamanaguchi is? Well, let's fix that problem by listening to the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack RIGHT NOW! See? It's awesome.

Anamanaguchi is keeping very busy lately. They just put up some new t-shirts for pre-order, they have a couple of new singles you can listen to right now and they're going to be playing in San Francisco this weekend with other chiptune artists at the DNA Lounge. Then Ananamanaguchi will be heading up to Seattle to play at PAX Prime.

It's an awesome month for Anamanaguchi fans.

If they packed movie and game soundtrack into one, I would orgasm.

Now if only the remixed Zelda tracks from the movie were released. When I heard the one from the dream, my heart dropped so hard :(

They're missing a lot of tracks, and some are just new. I have a rip of the game and theres 50 something tracks. Oh well, I'm still going to support Anamanguchi, those guys are amazing. And really nice in person too!

This is truly awesome news. I figured the Scott Pilgrim game would be far too obscure to warrant an official soundtrack release so this is a nice surprise.

This is the best news I've heard in a while. I can't get enough of this game's music.
