YEEEEEESSSSS! My god, I love this game. It's kind of sad that we had to wait so long for online co-op for a game that everyone pretty much moved on from but I will be downloading this. Easily one of my favorite downloadable titles. I know it's a long shot, but now if only we could get it ported to the 3DS...
As someone who has to put up with shitty co-op games all the time because of online only multiplayer, screw you guys and thank god for this games choice to be offline co-op at launch.
The only reason this is coming out is because the Scott Pilgrim books are being re-released in full colour. I'm a huge SP fan and I won't be buying this, $5 is too gouging for something that the game would have greatly benefited from at launch. I bought the other DLC that adds Knives and a couple game modes but that was $2. I do still love the game though. (Anamanaguchi fuck ya!)

Not sure why people are getting so bent out of shape over five bucks. The game was cheap to begin with, and they clearly weren't working on a mega-budget.
Is five bucks really too much to pay for multiplayer when people drop far more for MAPS ALONE in a ton of games? Hell, a single key in TF2 is worth $2.50 and there's no shortage of people buying those.

I completed it a while ago, and have three willing brothers & three Xbox 360 controller, but damn if I want to buy this just for Wallace.
Oh wow, what timing! I literally just picked this game back up a few weeks ago and finally finished it. Wallace is my favorite character, so assuming this has new Achievements, I'll be all over it.
ugh... I'll ask around with my internet friends, as much as I want to play as Wallace, this is only really justified if I have others to play with. Cool though.
The only problem I had with the game is that the huge cast of characters should have been unlockables. Or purchasable in bulk for a cheap price. There's just way too many cool characters I want to play as and Castle Crashers has thoroughly spoiled me when it comes to that sort of thing.
I figure they are charging for the online play because they may very well not have the money to spend on making sure all players are compatible with each other. Or would you rather download Wallace's data for free only to have to pay for a fancy key to actually play as him him?

It's frankly not the worst thing to have happened in the medium of video games by a long shot.

Wallace is a strange choice for a playable character since he appears in almost all the stages in the background and is even a shop vendor. I wonder how they're gonna solve this.
I'll probably purchase. I don't always play Scott Pilgrim, but when I do it is AWESOME. Plus, any excuse to listen to more Anamanaguchi, especially, 'Just Like in the Movies.'
This is a pretty awesome game, however I doubt I end up downloading this add-on. I kinda like sitting around with friends and bashing people senseless.
What!? The game should have come with online co-op! Now they are charging for it? I have never beaten the game, because I don't have anyone to play with. The overall game needs work too. Enemies need to drop more coins, because you actually have to grind stages to get the really expensive stat boosts in certain stores. Who would want grind with online strangers? What a total cock up this game was.
@NeonBlade - That's the exact reason I stopped playing. But then I found the Konami Code exploit and played the shit out of it. Depending on how you feel about cheating, it could bring you the joy you're looking for for a fraction of the grind time.

Start up a Multi-player Story mode game. Log into Player 1 with your main account name. Have additional players log into the game as a Guest. Now as player 1 pick the character who you want to give the money to and have the "guest" players log into the character with the most money on hand. Get to a shop and have the "guest" players lend all of their money over to player 1. Exit the map to save data, then Exit the Game. Repeat. Game only saves data for your character and not the guest characters playing, so all the money that was on the character for player 1 is saved when transferred while the money in "guest" players where not decreased.
I know this works with PS3 not sure about Xbox version

paying for online? fuck that. this game while good for the first 2 play through was fun, it was waaay to easy and not nearly as good as river city ransom. you got way to powerful way to fast. but sadly this is far to little far to late.
God dammit. I'm not normally one of those "shoulda been there at launch" people, but this REALLY shoulda been in there at launch. Not paying $5 just to complete my experience (as I have NO ONE to play with locally).
I really want to play this in online Co-Op, but having to play five dollars for it is bullshit. That's half of the game's actual cost.

After 2 years, it really doesn't look like a cash grab for a feature that was already in place. I'll take it, love the game. 5 bucks is a little steep, but it adds a feature I really wanted. Also, Wallace.

Shit man, I love this game and all, but we could use some new levels or something. I'm guessing they're doing this because of the new colored version of Scott Pilgrim that was at Comic Con(?)
Did they ever bother to fix the game-halting bugs? I never finished the game because of things like enemies falling in the water in Stage 4 without dying (and becoming unhittable) or ending up in an area with no enemies and no ability to scroll the screen.

I'll have to think about it. I love beat-'em-ups with all my heart, but this is way too late of a release. People have moved on. I would have played the game a lot more when it first came out if the online co-op was originally included, too.
I know I'm already planning to pick this up, and having Wallace as a character makes it more awesome! Tying online multiplayer to the paid DLC, however, is not awesome at all. >_>

Yeah, I would not recommend buying this unless you really wanted Wallace. Forcing people to pay for online multiplayer for a game that is years old, I can only imagine the amount of weeks it would take to find a coop partner online. Still bullshit. Also to people saying "this should have been in at the start because I have no local friends who will play this with me" welcome to my fucking world, stop telling me I have no friends because I still haven't been able to play Portal 2's coop mode. Yes I mad.
What great timing I just unlocked Nega-Scott Last week but haven't used him cause I have no one to play with because my friend is sick of the game. Better late than never I look forward to playing this on FNF with some Dtoid Peeps
