This karaoke superstar is known as netcasty and was discovered by CronosBlade while dicking around in IRC earlier today. netcasty really loves SingStar for the PlayStation 2. So much so, that he has exactly 169 videos of himself singing 169 different SingStar songs. Yep, that's right. 169 videos of nothing but him singing to various SingStar tracks.
This SingStar obsession started back in November of last year with the Divinyls' "I Touch Myself" and has continued on to this day, with his latest video going up just yesterday. After watching a few of these videos and nearly peeing myself with laughter, I felt it was my duty to share netcasty with all of you and the rest of the Internets.

This man is my new hero - Europe, Queen, The Offspring. I havent gotten through his whole youtube library, but I hope there is some Journey or Kansas in there.
I can picture it now. A Hollywood comedy based on this characters. Gold I tell ya!
Movie guy voice - "In a town, one mans dream of karaoke stardom, is almost complete. But will it be enough for the real thing?"
*cue dramatic stop and close up, pause, play inspiring music*
Concerned family member - "Please stop! Your embarrassing yourself."
Netcasty - "I can do this, I'm going to sing in public."
MGV - "Look out trashy bars across America, Netcasty gonna be comin' at cha!"
I want to say something mean. I really do. But I see these videos, and see that he's just so... damn... happy... I just can't. Rock on, netcasty! Rock on!
Sings better than me... and he's provided me my listening material for the day (or two?). Definitely enjoys what he's doing, which I can't say anything bad about. Sing on, sing loud, upload and be proud.
This needs to happen at the NYNarp, once the details have been ironed out...I have two versions of Singstar and won one of the contests at PAX last year haha. THat's hwo I got the PaRappa hat that Shin keeps threatening to steal from me.
