Say hello to my ... never mind: Was a Scarface sequel lost in Acti Blizz merger? photo

If you were holding your breath for a sequel to Radical's "not as bad as you'd expected" title Scarface, breath out.

According to a report on Variety's blog The Cut Scene, who confirmed with a "source" that a sequel was in the cards, the game may have been one of the Sierra franchises lost in the Activision Blizzard merger. There's no details on the game, as it had never been officially announced, so there is no word on whether or not the IP will lands on its feet elsewhere.

This isn't the only Sierra title that's been potentially lost in the merger -- both Ghostbusters and Double Fine's Brutal Legend are currently without a publisher. Of course, neither of those games had a "balls meter" ...

Oh my. This merger is serious business. I guess if the games are destined to hit the marked or actually be something then they will. No questions asked.

that's weird they'd let this one slip through the cracks of the merger. didn't the original sell a ton of copies - like, maybe more than it should have? i mean it was a decent game and all, but still...
