He was a good STALKER. Let's drink to him once more.

they're just trying to capitalize on the success had by all the other single player survival horror games that were turned into multiplayer and MMOs
Look at TF2, DOTA 2, LOL, Battlefield Heroes, WOW, SC2, or Diablo 3 for examples of money making genius. These cunts really know how to get money from people, and recent studies have 40% of all F2P players buying in-game items, pretty big considering a large chunk of PC games are pirated anyway. You can't really pirate a "free" game, eliminating that aspect.
Blizzard works on a little different aspect, and pulls you into the games first starting levels with limited options and gameplay, but forcing you to pay past a certain level after so many hours dedicated to it.
It makes sense, but I still think their cunts. I sack of moldy cunts who are putting their hard work towards a product which is inherently less of a game by design. Or they make items so powerful they are needed to play which are just for money. Like the buffs from wearing hats in TF2, I have my milkman which buffs my Scouts health by 25, which only happens when you wear the hat. Or my Crocodile hat which makes people unable to headshot me. I've spent 100+ on items in TF2, but now I think about even touching that game and I feel sick and depressed at how Valve has changed.
Valve dedicates so much time now on Dota 2 and TF2 instead of Half Life 3, F2P pieces of cunts which are like floating turds in my bowl of life.
These companies have turned into huge fucking moldy cunts with legs which walk around spewing their aids juice which is Free 2 Play all over us paying customers. Spraying it like a skunk spraying a cat in the face , and that cat is us Gamers. And it burns my eyes, oh god how it burns.
Do they not get that being *alone* is what made Stalker good and scary? Sounds like they are trying to make it like the faction stuff in Clear Sky - you know, the absolute worst thing about the absolute worst Stalker game.
I wonder how free-to-play model would work in a survival scenario. Part of the fun would be scrounging to find what you can, but will there then also be an option to buy what you need?
Seriosly GTOF Crysis2 was one of the best titles of this gen and it deserved those honors NOT sayin its better than other games BUT who said u wont have ur Stalker sequel its right there in article
I disagree with you on freemium games, since there are some decent ones out there, but I'm disappointed as well. As unpolished as STALKER was, I'm so glad I've started playing it recently because it's a unique game and it has some great ideas in there.
I'll remain skeptically curious about Survarium though.
However, if they allow me to be a part of a science team, then I will be all over the game.
