Save on some retro-themed games with a Groupee bundle

8:00 PM on 04.04.2013

Here is another bundle deal from the folks over at Groupee; this time it's a bunch of retro-themed PC indie games on offer. For the price of just $1, you can get six game: Dead Pixels, Smooth Operators, Forceline, Hit and Run, Sylia, and Love+.

If you pay a minimum of $3 you'll also get 8-bit Commando, Anodyne and Bleed. It looks like the bundle will reach its fifth stretch goal of 5,000 bundles sold, so if you hold off for a bit, you'll be able to get the soundtrack to Anodyne as well. It's rare to see a bundle where I don't actually own any of the games; this is looking mighty tempting.

Shovel Knight looks great in 16-bit, Aegis Defenders just looks great

Oh my goooddd. How did I miss this until now? It's like a Nausicaa game. Thank you sir Shovel Knight for making a cross over appearance (above) in Aegis Defenders, which is how it came to my attention.  The Kickstarter already passed its initial funding goal and its PS4 stretch goal. Local co-op and a Wii U version are up next. Here's hoping. This looks amazing. more
