Saucesome new Muramasa screens ... you'll need to give your monitor a wipe photo

I am a helpless fan of sidescrolling action games, so it's hardly surprising that Muramasa: The Demon Blade has quickly become the first Wii game I've had that "DO WANT" feeling about in a long time. Not only is it a member of one of my favorite genres, it looks absolutely stunning.

Just take a look at these three beautiful screenshots and try to tell me that this is not something that looks good. The premise is suitably old school, while the artistry is simply sublime.

I'll stop being an excitable little twit and let you take a look for yourselves but ... yeah. I really will do unspeakable things to lambs and ducklings in order to play this.

Is that a combo meter?

I like games with combo meters by default.

Developed by the guys who made Odin Sphere.

Will the devs be so enamored with their pretty visuals that they'll forget to put int a good game? Only time will tell.

Hopefully it'll be less repetitive than Odin Sphere. Definitely needed more variety.

@Rosseh

And have WAY less slowdown than Odin Sphere. During one of the bossfights, my game transformed into a slide show portfolio for Vanillaware.

"whoa I need to get my Wii back."

I think we'll be hearing this statement a lot from people over the next 6 month, or so!
