Sanctum 2 is aiming for PC and consoles in 2013
Did any of you play Sanctum? It's an enjoyable mix of first-person shooting and tower-defense maze building, and while I haven't been back to play the newer content, it's a recommendable game. According to Joystiq, it sold some 300,000 copies on Steam and a sequel is coming to PC and consoles in 2013. Can't say I saw that coming, but I'm excited. Perhaps the success of titles like Orcs Must Die! and Dungeon Defenders on consoles has made it easier to convince publishers to fund this stuff. Reverb Publishing executive producer Ted Lange is feeling it: "We all have logged quite a few hours with Sanctum and can definitively say that what Coffee Stain has in store for Sanctum 2 will blow the minds of Sanctum fans and new gamers alike." Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)A very enjoyable game with (in my opinion) a few deep-seeded flaws. Haven't played multiplayer, but imagine it would be a blast. This is definitely something I'll be watching with interest this year. I dunno, Sanctum was fun with friends for a bit, but it was just so limited. And to top that off, all of the updates they released (maps, weapons, etc) were all paid DLC... FUCK YEEESSSS I love me some Sanctum. If you haven't played it yet play it and for god sake upgrade your towers please don't build a million useless lvl 1 lasers >_< This game is so much fun. This has been my Friday Night Gaming gaming for the past few months with my nephew and a friend of mine, constantly trying to figure out new strategies to deal with the cursed fiends. Fun game this was. Only issue I had was that most of the people hosting were jerks. At least a good 80% of the time I would join a server and be kicked instantly without a word. The previous three, in my opinion, were totally worth it Hotel Südtirol 1:15 PM on 06.18.2013 'Definitive' Skulls of the Shogun headed to Steam17-Bit's turn-based Skulls of the Shogun is wonderful. Strategy players, simply put, need to grab it. And now that it's coming to Steam, I don't feel like I jerk for making such a strong recommendation. So long, Windows 8! T...
