So on my merry adventures at E3, I ran into a few interesting people, but the strikingly rad girl in the Zero Samus suit stood out quite a bit. Seems like Samus is saving the world in video games and in real life.
The girl in the suit is Michelle Perl of SOSGamers.org. S.O.S. Gamers are using interactive electronic entertainment to help in charitable services and support causes that aid society as a whole. Watch the video to hear how they are helping the world through video games.
Keep rocking out for the good guys and gals, Samus. (And rad Okami tattoo, by the way.)

He is also known as Bobby Venom in the roller derby circle and is practicing to become a fire breather to score discounts at Burning Man with people who truly believe they are from outer space. Not a word of this was made up, people.

Meet the rest of the team
I met her at PAX East and took a lovely shot of her in same suit. Of course, I didn't know how awesome in a civic sense she was as well until later on.

That's her inspirational story, printed in Nintendo Power. It doesn't bring this new info about her to light, but maybe it should. >_>
Whoops, I meant "admit to agreeing" (re: IGN as 'news' versus Dtoid reporting actually managing to keep the camera on your face and not much lower. *cough*)
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Thanks Venom! S.O.S.Gamers really appreciate the article and video!
Michelle, great explanation and *ahem* "selling" of what you guys do, and I must admit with the YouTube comment about IGN.
