In a sectioned off outer space section of E3, I bumped into none other than Samus Aran. She was keeping it really, doing whatever, and having a pretty good time. I figured she'd feel left out, what with Nintendo ignoring her 25th birthday and not having released any full Metroid game in a while (unless you count the criminally underrated Metroid Blast in Nintendo Land), but she seemed to enjoy having some time for herself.
