Sam's Club creates a mega-bundle: Xbox 360 Pro, Guitar Hero III and more: $349 photo

Sam's Club is becoming increasingly more aware of gaming and the prices that gamers want. They just sent word of a new Xbox 360 bundle that has everthing but the kitchen sink in it. Unfortunately, I don't think Sam's Club sells kitchen sinks, though.

Here's what's in this $349 bundle:

  • Xbox 360 PRO
  • Lego Indiana Jones
  • Kung-Fu Panda
  • Guitar Hero III
  • Guitar Hero guitar controller

As they point out, a Xbox 360 Pro console goes for $299 alone at other places. I would have liked to have seen something a bit more hip than Kung-Fu Panda in the bundle, but for this price it's hard to complain. Besides, it kind of has that whole "something for everyone in the family" vibe going on, which will be good come this holiday shopping season.

Methinks they may have printed a few too many copies of Kung-Fu panda. This is like the third bundle with it I've seen in the last two days.

This kind of thing reminds me of the SNES days. All these really crazy deals around christmas time.

Wait, though -- Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda are MS pack-in games for the system already -- it's not something Sam's Club is including on their own in addition to the system.

It's an okay deal, provided that the GHIII package includes the Les Paul, and not the Wal-Mart wired Xplorer version.

@ dmgi

It sure is, parents are the ones who mainly go to Sam's Club and all these games will appeal to parents.

Sam's Club sells kitchen sinks, but you have to buy them 20 at a time.

That's a good deal, if I had an extra 350 bones lying around I may be tempted to sell out and buy a 360

Gosh, this is painful. I'm not quite able to manage it right now, but... ARGH. So close, such a good deal...

Too bad having Kung Fu Panda wasn't Sam's Club's idea, seeing as all Pros come with the title packed-in nowadays.

I remember buying a Saturn and getting all kinds of shit.

VF 1, remix and 2, Virtua Cop, Daytona USA, Clockwork Knight, Sega Rally, Nights w/analog controller and Virtual On with a network thing.

It was awesome.

I wish I could swap out Lego Indy and KFP for just GH3 and the 360 for 300 out the door. With taxes, this deal goes for 380 ... not THAT big of a savings ... :/
