I think most fans of Telltale stuff would argue that, regardless of nostalgia appeal, the Sam and Max games have been the best of the episodic adventure games. You could even go so far to say that each new season of Sam and Max represents the technological and creative skill and confidence Telltale has at any given moment.
Also, Max is a rabbit thing, which is more than I can say for Guybrush and Wallace.....who are both MEN. Which is lame.

I'm going to be unashamedly pedantic here and say that the last episode was actually called 'What's New, Beezlebub?' Anyway, I hope Telltale give the series a good overhaul, since the last season was solid, but undermined by way too many re-used locations and characters (Abe Lincoln's Head has really ran out of comedy steam for me).

Yes! I've been waiting for this to come for awhile now. Seasons 1 and 2 are amazing.

Sam & Max is definitely my favorite of Telltale's franchises, and I still think that Season 2 was their best work, much better than anything else they've recently done.
