Sam and Max possibly coming to 360, Orbach possibly coming back from dead photo

Gamespot has done some investigative snooping only to come up with the hypothesis that the recent Sam and Max games may be heading to the Xbox 360. While it is just a rumor, signs including Telltale's (the developers behind Sam and Max) posting of a job offer for an Xbox 360 programmer with the ability to port a PC game to that platform, as well as a love of adventure games, could be considered a very Telltale sign (see what I did there?) of their intentions.

As a gamer who has been enjoying the newest Sam and Max titles via the goodness that is Gametap (see the upcoming DToid's Games of the Week post for how much we all love it), I'd love to see Telltale's funny-as-Jesus-in-a-yamolke game ported to the 360, almost as much as I want to spend my days in the clammy embrace of Zombie Lennie Briscoe.

Well I've never played Sam And Max Games before, their cartoony feel makes the transition to the 360 easy and the controls will likely be similar to the original.

With Sam and Max's low low system requirements, I don't see why would anyone so desperately want a console port.
Kb/M is the most fitting control scheme for adventure games too.

There's already been rumors about a Wii version for similar reasons. And I love the new versions almost as much as the originals.

telltale has been wanted to bring the series to the 360 since I interviewed them in August, but they have been in talks an trying to work all the details out. the pricing though is what I would be curious about, it might get real expensive coming our way on the 360 especially if they don't offer a series discount like they do on the pc.

Sam and Max: Hit the Road was one of my favorite PC games off all time and one of the only games to ever make me laugh out loud. Seeing that, or any other Sam and Max game, on the 360 would make my purchase totally worthwhile.
