Gah, finally. I've been wanting to talk about Saints Row: The Third since last Friday, and yesterday the embargo was finally up. I got to talk to Drew Holmes, the game's lead narrative designer (or "writer") about all the wonderful things in the game, such as dildos, genitals, and Japanese reality TV shows. And Shaundi. Lovely, lovely Shaundi.
For more info, check out Hamza's full preview, and be sure to watch last night's Destructoid Show, where I give more of my impressions of the game, and get totally red in the face about how excited I am for it.
Max Scoville is the co-host of The Destructoid Show on Revision 3 and left-leg component of the original Megazord. Born in France, raised in Connecticut, and while he studied painting & drawing at the SF Art Institute his true passion is entertaining others.

Meet the rest of the team
Every new morsel of information makes me want this game even more. Lovely interview. Also, Drew looks vaguely like Dave Holmes. I wonder if they are related.
saints row the third needs bruce campbell in it as an actor....do it
my only worry is they will abuse dlc which from rumors it sounds like it....I really want the professor genki dlc but with uncharted 3 and skyrim , I want to wait till december to buy it
Sure, Skyrim is looking like game of the forever, but wouldn't you rather have a vehicle that FIRES PEOPLE rather than whatever non-person firing bonus you may get for pre-ordering the chance to watch Nathan Drakes arse for 12 or so hours? Think about it...
It's been DECADES since I last played Saints Row 2 but didn't Shaundi die?
Also, MAX! I loved the video. I would like to see more of the cutting-to-you-guys-playing stuff and reactions to stuff. I guess I should be directing that comment to your camera man, but, MOAR!
I hope they do abuse dlc for this cause on saints 2 I wanted more dlc . So for saints the third I hope they go dlc crazy like music & dance games do. Even if I cant afford it at the time there will be lots of dlc out for a great game. I will gladly pay for that.

I agree completely. The only thing that's going to be better than Saints Row The Third is even MORE Saints Row The Third. Plus, there is SO much ridiculous and over the top stuff you can still add to Saints Row that not abusing DLC with it would be an incredible wasted opportunity
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
if it does i swear i will punch any person i see who purchased it.
