I hope it's actually a new strand of interesting missions instead of tweaked minigames. That Genki DLC was pretty underwhelming.

This was the worst part of the game IMO. Shit-tier ending with a boring fucking mission/boss-fight in the space scene.

If they downplay the player character like in GenkiBowl (where he/ she shows up as themselves for one cut-scene and in a panda suit with a single VA in the other) then screw this.
Oh, and no porn star cameo? I know we had one as a main character (Sasha Grey as Viola) but for one DLC for Saints Row 2, we had Tera Patrick.

The only things that could truly ruin this for me is if the ray guns are just a bit more powerful than a flashlight and if there are no Destroys/UFOs to be seen at all.
Looks like Dr. Venture will be gearing up and heading to Gargantua-1 again. I sweat the ability to play as Dr. Venture, and only listen to the Venture Bros theme song was the only redeeming factor of this game.
I loved SR3, but am mad the unlimited ammo and invincibility perks for your character can't be turned off. I thought I was buying cheat codes when I spent my in-game dollars on those abilities, but now they are always on. Made the last few missions and Genki DLC a complete breeze to finish, sadly. Any word on if they plan to change that?
That free season pass promotion from preordering direct from THQ is extending the enjoyment I derive from this game exponentially. All this shit shoulda been free for everyone or at least been like and online pass thing for all buyers of a new game
sadly the fun on this games has passed so quickly. i tried to play it the other day, having pretty much beaten everything except the last hard activity missions (fuck you snatch,heli assult) and 1 car, and assassination left. played it for about 7 min and turned it off. just wanst fun anymore with all the asshole gangs swarming you the instant you even fire a gun. this game was such a let down.
Saints Row 2 was a thousand times better. They killed the character customization for the sake of cheap plastic looking clothing sets. Gameplay wise it wasn't really much improved either. I hate the linear mission setting too and being forced to play the mini-games. The fact that they were optional in Saints Row 2 made them more enjoyable because I could play them on my own time when I felt like it, not to mention you actually received awesome rewards for completing them. Saints Row 3 was the biggest disappointment of the past few years for me. Thankfully I got my copy for free because the guys THQ have distributing their games forgot to charge me. I'd say it's worth about that much, next to nothing.
