I've decided that I need this game. I've haven't been this excited for a Saints Row game since... ever.
Don't know why I haven't been paying attention to this. I've kind of been wanting an open world/sandbox game (besides skyrim), but GTA and RDR are just too boring/realistic for me.
If I weren't already planning on getting Skyrim in two weeks, I would definitely buy this game in an instant. I messed around with the Initiation Station and had a blast with just the character creation weirdness.

Its a shame Ass Creed and this come out the same day. Im much more looking forward to Saints Row but Im probably going to get Ass Creed first due to the spoilers being put out there.
Don't forget, Jim, it also doesn't have exposed polygonal politician penis, social obligations to in-game friends and cars that handle like over-burdened pallets unlike the Grand Theft Auto 4.

I would hope Burt Fuckin' Reynolds becomes a recruitable homie. I'd sit his ass on the Kaneda bike and we'd go destroy the world together.
Anyone else having problems uploading from the Initiation Station demo? I made a site account and everything but keep getting timed out so I can't upload my character.
The "space men" segment makes it look like the Ultor/Red Faction angle will be explored more. Not the series' biggest selling point, maybe, but a nice bonus.
You see that? Since Burt is in the game, one of those better be as well. There was a time when that was considered one of the coolest cars on the road.
@script-br: If you took that dig at GTA too seriously, you're probably not in the proper mindset for Saint's Row.

It's difficult to tell what I should take seriously, since many people seem to be in that "Battlefield vs Call of Duty"/"Genesis vs SNES" mindset when it comes to SR and GTA, and this is not the first time you compare the two. But if you're not hating, then it's all roses and honey.

That's the best Saints Row trailer to date. I thought THQ told Volition that "Farts in a Jar" were taking it too far. Well, I'm glad their creative vulgarity wasn't censored. =D
If Volition manages a PC release that's not mangled like the previous game, I'm all in.
