My graphics card is getting pretty bad even if my CPU is holding up. But it's close enough so unless they pull a Brink or a RAGE I should be OK.

Looks like I'll be buying this twice.
Hopefully it'll go on sale, though, having already dropped $100 on the CE for 360.
I loved GTA4's clip editor, and now that it's gonna be in SR3 it's another thing I have to add to my "Must Buy Eventually" list.

I would buy it on pc, but I always find the controls for that sort of game feel way more clunky on pc than on console.
I have a sneaking feeling that the video record option will be available across all platforms, seeing as how the profile/uploads section of the SR3 site has spots for 'screenshots' and 'videos'. It's definitely possible for the PS3 as it was able to do video capture with Just Cause 2.
Looks like I can run it though I doubt I'll be able to crank it up all to "ultra high". In games like that draw distances and the sheer amount of objects in the scene (cars, people, stuff you can pick up, stuff you can blow, stuff you want, stuff you don't want, just all sorts of stuff) usually mean that you need that much more power to render it all. Still, if it's better optimized than GTA4 I should be good.
@Popliteal Buy a controller for PC. In fact, I just recently discovered that there are xbox controllers sold with a PC adapter, i.e. you can use it for both... not at the same time though... unless you're Ben Heck of course ;)

nice. I love how my gaming rig i spent roughly 800 dollars on 3 years ago can still max out new games. PC gaming is just getting better and better.
Yeah im still not game to try it on PC although I am well above recommended specs.
After that horrible port of SR2 its like putting your money down at the casino.
Plus mods havent really been a strong point for SR games. I woulndt buy it on PC for that.

ALL PC games should have split-screen, since it's no different from playing on consoles. Someone even made a split-screen patch for the PC version of Resident Evil 5, and it literally works identically to the 360 version.

The SR2 port was farmed out to some company in Asia. SR3 is being done in house along side the console version. Violition did the same with Red Faction: Armageddon and the PC version ended up being pretty good.

PC MASTER RACE reporting in! Definitely getting this on PC and look forward to everything SR has to offer. And things that modders have to offer. Also, the PC that I just built for BF3 blows those Recommended Specs outta the water! :D
FUN FACT: The same company that developed The Witcher did the PC port of Saints Row 2. Funny how things change.
