Saddle up! Wavy Tube Man Chronicles to hit Windows 8

Also available for Microsoft Surface

I have always enjoyed games that are a little out there in terms of its story, and who aren't afraid to break that fourth wall so hard that it leaves in shambles. That's why whenever I hear anything about an game from Twisted Pixel, my ears perk.

Twisted Pixel has decided to take The Gunstringer's spin-off DLC, The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles and port it over to both Windows 8 and Windows RT platforms. That's right, you can get your Twisted Pixel fix on the go...so long as you have a Surface tablet. This Mad Dog McCree inspired rail shooter places you in the role of Wavy Tube Man Jr. on a mission to save his father from death's cold and marionetted fingers.

On your mission through time, you will encounter a variety of enemies from no-good outlaws to warriors of the future; and all using Twisted Pixel's glorious "graphiz" technology. No word on a set release date for it on the Windows Store, but the price for this little slice of hilarity will be $1.49. It is still cheaper, and possibly more entertaining, than that Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford cowboy romp.
