Ascaron and CDV Interactive’s Sacred 2: Fallen Angelshit consoles this Tuesday. In celebration of the game’s launch, the publisher and developer duo released what will probably be the last trailer for the game. Since, after all, you can now grab it off store shelves if you’re hungry for some Diablo-style RPG action.
The launch trailer -- available after the break -- shows off the game’s larger boss encounters. At the end of each chapter, you’re usually forced to fight a ridiculously large boss monster. And trust me, these behemoth baddies are no joke. Bring friends.
Our review of the game is still coming. Sacred 2 is a long, long experience with hundreds of sidequests as well as a beefy cooperative component. It’ll take some time, but we’ll give you a verdict eventually.
In the mean time, tell us (and others) what you think of it. Do technical issues hamper it? Are you digging the co-op? Does the story tickle you? What’s the best/worst part? Also, how cool are the unique mounts?
I've got about a dozen hours in on the dark campaign and so far I am really enjoying it.
The game does have it's share of bugs but I've yet to experience anything game breaking. Loading pauses in larger towns can get really annoying while running quests.
I think the best part of the game so far is its massive size and number of quests.
The game is essentially Diablo and Morrowind thrown into a blender. The hack n slash and item system from Diablo combined with the size, quests, and bugs from Morrowind.
So far my High Elf is level 15-16? I haven't had a chance to taste any sweet, sweet co-op, but I will eventually.
As for any technical issues, the camera does annoy me, but I can deal with it. Otherwise, I haven't locked, crashed or had any corrupt data. I hope I just didn't jinx myself there. :P
I would say so far the true lack of solid narrative is the worst part, but that's not why I'm here - I'm here to throw fireballs, loot corpses and escort kittens back from dungeons. For me, the journey is the best part. I like wandering wherever I want and come across something along the way, whether it's a quest, an outpost or a random dungeon. It's everything I wanted it to be so I'm quite pleased.
got about 20 hours logged, but only 16 on my main. loving it. thought the unique mounts were gonna be useless, but then I realized you can use all your skills. EPIC.
solo'd all threee bosses so far. resistances are key.
Played bout 10 hours so far. Three characters to at least level 5, one to 7 so far. There are a few minor glitches, but otherwise it's a good, solid game. Missing my vampire, though.

Having a LOT of fun with it! Few glitches and bugs abound. (like falling through the floor -_- but luckily the teleport feature fixes that right up.)
Nothing game ending, solid and HUGE game. Lovin it!
