Not content with simply bringing action role-playing game action to the PC and Xbox 360, Ascaron Entertainment has announced that a PlayStation 3 version of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is in development.
The title will feature "enhanced" visuals and full 5.1 Channel Dolby Surround support. Additionally, the game will feature a two-player splitscreen cooperative mode, where players can hop in and out at the press of a button. If you don't have any friends, the game will feature online multiplayer components, as well.
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel will be available on the PS3 this fall, and should be worth playing, if only to slaughter those imps in the above image.

Also, the multi-player on PS3/360 is shared screen, not split-screen (think X-Men Legends II), with two on the same console or up to four consoles linked together. Single-player and multi-player is totally seamless so you can go from one to the other and retain all loot and experience and view the campaign from your perspective, or the perspective of other gamers you join.
