Rune Factory takes to the open seas in Tides of Destiny
The newest Rune Factory, for the Wii and PS3 is out today. Tides of Destiny takes place on an island, and will allow players to travel the open seas in search of adventure, enemies and plots of farmable land. Tides will cost $39.99 for the Wii and 49.99 for the PS3, which is a nice change from the usual $59.99. I've never played a Rune Factory game on anything but the DS, so this should be an interesting experience and one I am looking forward to. The story sounds interesting and I've always been a fan of the two genres that this series combines. Hopefully the added element of seafaring exploration will bring even more to a franchise that already has a lot going for it. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I'm very excited, as well! My copy for the PS3 is coming in tomorrow morning. I loved the Frontier, save for that horrible Runey micromanaging... finally some news regarding this one!
although, it's sad that probably this one will not arrive in my country since is not well-known >: oh well... IMPORT! awe man I forgot about this game. I hardly have money for games this year. maybe I can try to get the Wii version with my store credit since its cheaper, but still gameing is going to burn through my wallet this year. Meant to buy it today, but real life responsibilities got in the way. Alas, I'm going to make it a point to get my hands on this game as soon as possible. Gonna have to grab this when the price goes down, gears of war, solatorobo, and that dark link statue took all my funds this month. I've never played a Rune Factory game but I always come very close to buying them. This open sea adventure may be just enough to pull me in. @Danielzilla
YOU CAN DIG UP ISLAND FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA! WHAT ELSE COULD YOU NEED? ... I know!, you can double jump too. I would get this but I am still finishing Rune Factory 2 and 3 so right now theres plenty of Rune Factory for me though I will buy it later. played the last Rune Factory game for the Wii. After 3 days i realized that game was consuming my soul and i had to quit. and now i really want to play this, thank god Dark souls has a permanent hold on me right now I didn't know this existed. I played Rune Factory Frontier on the Wii but I burned out on it before making much progress. It's a neat game but it went too slowly for me. This looks like it'll be very similar but the open sea aspect sounds pretty cool. I reckon I'll pass on it but I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. :) I liked the previous title of this series quite a bit on the Wii, but the limited number of buttons and the interface always seemed to disconnect me from the actual game, and that eventually bored me too much to pick it up again. From these screenshots however, I think that they made a few improvements on it, so I can't wait to read up on the game, and possibly purchase it in the near future. 7:00 PM on 05.14.2013 Harvest Moon GBC takes root on 3DS eShop this weekHarvest Moon for the Game Boy Color is coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in North America this week, Natsume has announced.
