After multiple delays, XSEED has informed us that Rune Factory 4 will officially launch on October 1st, 2013 on the 3DS for $39.99. The gist is you'll go on a fantasy life romp, engaging in farming, dungeon crawling, and managing resources. For the first time ever in the series you'll be able to create a female hero, and play as either a prince or a princess.

I've always enjoyed the Rune Factory series, and I can't wait to try this one out. The 3DS is an RPG machine, and it's slowly becoming my favorite portable of all time.
