If your life-long dream is to run alongside of Sonic the Hedgehog outside of a television screen, then you're in luck, as Sonic Athletics is now a thing. Complete with a treadmill style arcade setup, the game is eight players, and pits different characters against each other in track-based combat.

Located on the second floor of Yokohama Japan's Joypolis amusement park, you'll be able to play three events -- the 10 meter dash, long jump, and hurdles. You won't have to actually do the jumping yourself (presumably for safety reasons) as a button will do it for you -- but I would still totally jump mind you.

As Sonic would say, "you're too slow!"
