Considering that Uncharted: Drake's Fortune got a pretty decent reception and the possibility of a silver screen debut, it's no surprise that a sequel is in the works. Depending on how much proof you need, that could now be official -- at least, if you believe what you're seeing in the video above.
Why is still a rumortoid, you ask? Well, the source, Play3-Live, has not posted any pictures of the ad, but the video above was posted on Gametrailers. According to the source, this information came straight from Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra, although word of a sequel has been floating around for some time, but active work on it had not been confirmed.
I'll definitely be all over this game when it comes out -- it has been one of my favorite on the PS3 so far. Are you ready for more of Nate and Elena's antics?
I figured this would come eventually, but lets hope sooner than later. This is a must own game for the ps3, and one of the better games to come out last year!

Um ive got an issue of the UK official playstation magazine from about october 2007 with an interview with the head of naughty dog where he says we are starting work on the sequel. He also said it is most defintely going to be a franchise on par with their ealier games. The first game was awesome too which doesn't hurt matters.
We all knew it was coming. Hopefully we'll get an actual confirmation soon. The first game was awesome, I can't wait to see what they do with the second one.
