I read it already. Still, how many people already heard about GLaDOS and "the cake is a lie" well before playing Portal 1? If the game is as well done, it shouldn't matter that we already know the rough premise in advance of its release. The key now will be avoiding further details.

This still doesn't really tell us anything about it. So we know of one character now. That still doesn't tell me the circumstances under which the game will take place, nor the goal behind it. I doubt that Valve would let any real, significant spoilers out.

It's not much of a spoiler. Sequel is a prequel, big surprise. Also the last thing Portal needs is another game, so I don't really care.

Some people actually like to fully experience a game without previously knowing information about the story/characters/etc. It's a pretty wild idea, I know.

If you take what I say, and if what I said is true, the only thing in my post that was related to the "spoiler' is the word "bad guy" (the betray you part is not true and said by deiga, the true attempted spoiler revealer in these comments). Whats the BIG commotion, sure this is bad, but don't you guys remember wht happened with HL2 when the game code got leaked? The game DID get delayed, but valve made sure the final product was outstanding and not a spolier was relesed before hand, the likelyhood of a step like this being done with the script of portal 2 is now ceain, for all we know, the script now has the potential to become even better thanks to the probable delay, if this was game code leaking out, then and only THEN, would I be pissed, oh and yaisuah, no offence but you really do make yourself ou to be a idiot, please dont bring the hate, its not 'cool'. it's not 'hip' and just gets you grief and you look like a little child in front of every DTIOD regular, not to mention a possibile ban, so y'know, chillout, everyone can get along, without the uneccessary name calling,ok?
