Mr. Destructoid shaped tips box. Apparently, a product called the "Marvel vs Capcom Tournament Edition Arcade Stick" is to be made available for purchase to British people starting on July 10, 2009, for both the
PS3 and the
360.
The bad news is, this isn't a Marvel Vs Cacpom 3 stick. The good news is that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 must be making it's long rumored return to home consoles sometime before the stick's release date. I know, I know, it's not called the "Marvel vs Capcom 2 Tournament Edition Arcade Stick," but the thing's description says it's going to be covered with Marvel Vs Capcom 2 artwork. So I'm choosing to believe this means, if anything, we'll be getting MvC2 and not MvC1.
Am I jumping to conclusions here? Do you think this new stick is named after Marvel Vs Capcom just for fun, and is actually meant to be used with Street Fighter 4 and the other previously released six button fighters on the 360/PS3?
More importantly, can some one tell me just what the f*ck Amingo is supposed to be?
[Update: I mixed up the month and the day of the stick's release date. God damn you Europeans and you backwards-date trickery! So that means the game may be out in July instead of October. Thanks for the heads up, Power-Glove!]

I can settle for MvC1, but obviously want MvC2. It makes no sense to bring the lesser wanted of the two.
Cammy is my main, so it'll be a sweet reunion.....even though I still have the PS2 and Dreamcast versions. LOL
Something is telling me that they should add some more tracks, or remixes, but on the other hand they should keep it.

Doesn't that have to do with licensing issues? Cause their license has expired, or the license was revoked (or something like that)?
I still hope we see a new game, though. Tatsunoko vs Capcom is fun, and far more balanced than MvC2, but it's Japan-only, and most people don't want to import.
Anyways, still awesome news, MvC2 was kickass, and seeing it hit a larger audience would be pretty sweet. Even if it failed at balancing.

I want one of them tournament sticks, but they're sold out everywhere. If this is the same as the SFIV one/better than, it's an insta-buy for me.

The stick is super expensive though, so beware!
If this is a downloadable, and there's future DLC, they will have as much cash as it takes to get it all from me, guaranteed.

I mean...otherwise it's pretty pointless unless you're too lazy to burn a PS2/DC copy or pay the outrageously overpriced disc copies floatin about online.
Anyways we'll have to see if this is just a port with online play or if Capcom is bringing in new stuff.
Marvel could get Deadpool and ummm that's all I can think of.
Capcom could really through in some more RE character's in there as well as megaman.

@ Shin Oni- I own Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on the Dreamcast, but am waaay too lazy to hook up my Dreamcast every time I want to play it. Plus, the option to play online with friends is more than worth the likely asking price of $10.

MvC1 was the game that gor me into the fighting genre and MvC2 kept me there. I stupidly sold my PS2 copy when I was younger. I can't wait for this. Nice matlocking everybody!
(Also, maybe I should get that TE instead of my BlazBlue HRAP I've got on order...)
