I guess it's just me, but I always expect that the big speakers at the Game Developers Conference are going to announce something. It keeps happening. And seeing as how next month is Hideo Kojima's debut at GDC, I kind of expect him to have something up his sleeves.
The folks at VG247 say that they have heard from Konami that Kojima is set to reveal something at the event.
“With regard to Mr Kojima, we have to keep things tight-lipped for now,” said a rep when quizzed on the speech’s content.
“We will be making some announcements closer to GDC, so stay tuned.”
Damn it. Even though this qualifies as a mere rumor, I know that this will make it even harder to find a good seat. Or Wi-Fi.
Anyone care to guess what Kojima may announce at GDC? And don't say Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360.

I would laugh my ass off if this happened.
But naw. I just expect some more info on that MGS game for the iPhone.

I say it's gonna be a totaly insane FPS, unlike anything we have seen before..but with that insanely awesome look of MGS and ZOE...at least I hope! I'd love to see a big budget JP take on the FPS

He's got to know people want Zone of the Enders again.
I'll say this with confidence: If a 360 port of MGS4 happens at all, it will happen during or right before GDC 2009. Additionally, it is very unlikely that it would carry the name "Guns of the Patriots".
This also explains why a 360 port hasn't been announced yet. Logic is a bitch, isn't it?
That being said, I'm waiting for the moment that Kojima finally decides to make a zombie game like he so obviously wants to.

You mean this post? You may want to go back and read it again. We never said Tactics was a 360 game. Specifically, I said I didn't know, but was sure it would be called "mgst" (and it was). Also, check out my wording above. Notice I used the word "if"?
Why do fanboys think they know everything? Here's another "if": If MGS4 comes to the 360 in any way, I'm going to call you out every single time you make a stupid comment and link back to this. I'd invite you to do the same, but I said "if". Kinda hard to call someone out when they are basically saying, "maybe". You should try it sometime.
Wouldn't it be best for Kojima and friends, as well as gaming in general, if MGS4 sold as many copies as possible on multiple platforms, instead of just limiting it to the PS3? I dunno, I guess I'm crazy.
