Rumortoid: Hammers to war online this September photo

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Mythic’s upcoming MMORPG that more than a few community members are looking forward to, is now expected to be coming out on September 23. This speculation was caused when EA, the game’s publisher, updated the product information of the Collector’s Edition to include this date.

It is possible that this could be another placeholder date, so, as always, we’ll need to wait for an official announcement before we can be 100 percent sure that Warhammer’s release date is only two months away.

Is this an MMO that you’ve been particularly looking forward to? Have the recent content cuts made you a bit wary of how it will turn out at launch?

While I very much want to play this, I don't think my schedule and bank account will permit me to. Tuition's a bitch.

The content cuts didn't affect me and the temporary loss of four cities to make the two we have better isn't so bad.

As for the date, I WANT IT NOW!

As a long time fan and collectorer of Warhammer and 40K, I have had the collecters edition on preorder for a while now. I really hope the rumours of a 40K MMO are true as well

yeah a warhammer 40k MMORPG would be more appealing to me too... however, this might be the first MMORPG that I'll get a subscription for sicne EQ :D

One of the staff from Mythic was posting on a forum saying that they promise the last delay they had would be the last, so September sounds like it's set in stone. They said that any more delays would mean pushing it into 09', and I can't remember his exact words, but it was basically along the lines of "that's impossible".

The content cut was a bit of a shame, but I can understand why the cut them. The Choppa Orcs and the Black orcs were really no different, so I’m hoping they bring the choppas back with a bit more of a fun edge.

Does the amount of delay equal the quality in a game?
WAR delay: 1 month = slightly better
3 month = pretty good
6 months = ZOMG
9 months = ????
12 months = PROFIT!

Bah I don't know.

I want it, but I want to wait for patches to fix it up a bit.

WoW was horrid when it was released in 2004.

I'm still waiting to see how it actually plays. The beta I saw showed people walking up to eachother, and hitting. Which I could swear I've played before, and could use something else.

im excited but im skeptical about them just delaying the other city. i mean wat they have been hyping for years now is the BEST RVR ev4h claiming that ill be more of a Hobbies rather than just a game. either way im still getting the collector...
