What happens when a marketing research company who puts confidential information online meets the Internet in the dark alleys of the web? While many of you were spending yesterday with your fathers and loved ones, NeoGAF and others were taking advantage of a security hole on Intellisponse's Web site.
The result was a flurry of "leaks" and information, including this tidbit about the as-yet-unannounced -- but obvious -- Forza Motorsport 3 for the Xbox 360. The information single-handedly justifies the existence of Blu-ray by indicating that the game will have so many cars and tracks (over 400 and 100, respectively) that the game will be sold as a 2-disc set. Additionally, the listed feature set also includes: "near limitless customization"; online community features; a player assist system for newbies; and new race modes -- drag, drift, oval, and point-to-point racing.
Until Microsoft makes an official announcement, all of this information needs to be taken with a grain of salt. This information does come from a marketing research company, which means this two-disc Forza 3 could exist in concept only. But nothing says "speed" like disc-swapping, eh?

At least its faster than having the PS3 "swap discs" for you and sitting around for 5 minutes watching Snake smoke a cigarette.
Grid vs GT5

While Grid is more arcade, it does clearly point out some glaring goofness in a supposed simulator that Forza at least addresses. I personally hate GT5 and Forza, but I can see the problem.
Blu-ray is not a factor since you're still playing the game even if it's spread over 2 discs and appears more realistic than the other. Just my view on this.
Or if it isnt another way you could do it, is move onto a second disc onece you progress so far through the game...
But like galagabug said, probabaly be out before GT5 which makes me sad, how can the mighty fall soo low :`¬(
Grand Turismo 2 for the PSX(1) was on 2 CDs -> a Racing Disk and the Simulation Disk.
On the other end :
A dual layer Blu Ray has 90Gb, it takes 11 dual layer DVDs and one single layer.
(and since MGS4 is divided in to 3 parts; each mission would take 4 disk swaps. And this without taking into consideration the mandatory install that would make the nunber of DVDs bigger because that information has to be accessed at all times)
At the same time, I don't think another Forza is necessary or even something to look forward to. Boring racing sims are boring.
6 dual layer DVDs and one single layer
