Rumortoid: Family-friendly Xbox 360 bundles incoming photo

According to Cheap Ass Gamer, Microsoft is prepping to announce a few family-friendly-flavored Xbox 360 bundles to follow up on the console's recent price drops.

Reportedly, GameStop has tagged these bundles with an October 8 ship date, and Xbox 360 Fanboy tells us that Swedish retailer Webhallen has the items in question plastered all over its Web site.

As seen above, LEGO Indiana Jones and Kung-Fu Panda will be pack-ins for the Pro and Elite models, while Sega Superstar Tennis will be included with the Arcade.

While there's been nothing official in terms of announcements from the Microsoft camp yet, TGS is very soon, and it's seemingly the perfect opportunity for the company to announce a slew of holiday bundles.

[Thanks, Brian]

I would prefer the "Kick Your Face Clean Off" Bundle of GTA, Gears of and Condemned, maybe even DOOM for a history lesson.

Kung Foo Panda indeed, how cruel, even Crash Bandicoot, Marble Blast Ultra etc are better games than that steaming pile.

I don't see those two games sweetening the deal on a elite for the casual buyer.

Wow, what a fantastic way to pawn off a craptacular game such as Dung Poo Panda.

This is an outrage! This is hardly family friendly...

In one game you are encourage to destroy any and everything around you to find loot, even people. Do you want kids doing that? And the other game it promotes fatness and jokes about it...hardly positive reinforcement!

[/end large, psycho, feminist rant]

Viva Pinata's better than F.U. Panda. And Batman or Star Wars would've been better than Indy. Indiana Jones is just barely a kid's movie. Or what about Naruto. Kids like Naruto, right?

@Jumbo

The Indiana Jones movies may be adult-slanted, but the LEGO game? That skews heavily towards children.

Anyway, I wonder how much trade-in credit I can get for these two ...

That's funny, I work at gamestop and I just finished putting up the display boxes for these. And are able to sell them right now, so there is no street date.
